The
adventure of exploring new
paths (such as COOLSchool) can often be accompanied by
bumps in the road. The first thing to do if this occurs
is to step back, take a deep breath, and evaluate the
situation. Is the problem a technical one? Is there
confusion over an assignment? Is there a question as to
registration/course credit/payment?
If you are experiencing
technical difficulties, then connectivity is most likely
a problem. Check with your school (building) computer
specialist if you are at school. Servers are often down
occasionally for maintenance or upgrading. If the
problem occurs from home, contact the Internet Service
Provider that you use. It may be as simple as an account
lapsing and the result being that service is curtailed.
It is
important to contact us as soon as possible
in the event of any problems. If your personal or school
e-mail is down, then send us a message via someone
else's account or from another site (such as the public
library). Also, you can always set up a free web-based
email account with service providers such as Yahoo, Hot
Mail, etc.
Here are some of our most
frequently asked questions:
Will this class
meet my graduation requirements?
The class meets the psychology
requirements for most high schools. You will need to
check with your school counsellor, however, to make sure
that this will meet your school's graduation
requirements.
What about the
Standards?
All Personal Psychology courses comply with
the American
Psychology Association National Standards for The Teaching
of High School Psychology
What
is the status of my registration?
For questions regarding registration
or course fees, you should contact the COOLSchool
principal, Mark Finch
